A Second Cup of Hot Apple Cider
Stories to Stimulate the Mind and Delight the Spirit
“A reminder that there is something good in the world.” Midwest Book Review
From Ellen's foreword:
"What a great book! Cozy reading that’s warming like apple cider, but also energizing like the best caffeine! ... Reading can enrich, ennoble, motivate, challenge, encourage, and arouse us. That’s why you’ll want to purposefully stop now and then in your busy days, get a cup of coffee, tea, or—yes, hot apple cider—and relish the gifts this fine book offers."
An inspiring collection of more than 50 true stories, fictional short stories, and poems by 37 writers whose work is distinguished by honesty and vulnerability, combined with encouragement and hope.
More than 40,000 paperback copies of this book are in circulation in Canada!
30,000 copies were given out at "Girls Night Out" and "Couples Night Out" World Vision events across Canada. Nearly 15,000 additional paperback copies have gone out since, and many ebooks as well.

But be sure to buy more than one, for you will probably have the urge to share this gem of a collection with others."
